Printing T-shirts generally uses screen printing and hot stamping. Screen printing requires a plate to be made before printing. On the one hand, the cost of a single piece is high, and on the other hand, there are restrictions on the color, generally up to four colors, so the color is not rich. The advantage of screen printing is that the pigment can be attached to the T-shirt. Screen printing is generally used for mass production, and personalized customization is generally not used. Hot stamping is to first print the sublimation ink (a special ink) on a special paper with a printer, and then transfer it to the clothes through a hot stamping machine. If the clothes contain less than 70% cotton or no cotton at all (such as the jerseys worn for playing), the ink can be directly transferred to the clothes. If it is pure cotton clothes or high cotton content, you need to use special T-shirt transfer paper. This kind of paper leaves a layer of rubber on the clothes after printing. If the transfer paper is good, the glue feeling of the picture is very small. If it is a cheap transfer paper, the glue feeling will be slightly stronger. In a short time, the clothes will not affect the picture after washing.
Pure cotton T-shirt hot stamping is divided into light hot stamping and dark hot stamping. Light-colored T-shirts generally refer to white and some light blue T-shirts, and light-colored hot stamping paper is used. The quality is generally reflected in the stretching of the printed part. Poor paper will break when pulled, while good paper will not break even if it is stretched for a long time. In addition, the poor paper is more likely to fade in terms of the time of saving the picture. Dark T-shirts generally use dark T-shirt transfer paper, and the quality is also uneven. The biggest difference between dark and light colors is that dark colors are thicker, and the rubber layer feels heavier. In summer, when you sweat, it sticks to your chest, and you feel like someone is attacking your chest.
Print the hot stamping paper with a printer (the ink is a special thermal sublimation ink), then spread the clothes on the hot stamping machine flatbed, put the printed paper on it, press it down, and wait for a while, and a personalized piece of clothing is made.
