Polyester Cotton
Cotton + polyester refers to the general term for blended fabrics of polyester and cotton. There are generally two classification methods: blended and interwoven. The advantages are good wrinkle resistance and not easy to deform; the disadvantages are easy to pilling, and the fabric feels hard due to two dyeings. It feels soft and thick, and is not easy to deform after washing, but the comfort of clothing is slightly worse than pure cotton. The 65% cotton T-shirt fabric is okay, while the 35% cotton is relatively poor, very uncomfortable to wear, and easy to pilling.
100% cotton
This is a more commonly used T-shirt fabric with a high cost performance. Although it is not like other high-end T-shirt fabrics, it has been processed by special processes, but 100% pure cotton still maintains the superior natural characteristics of pure cotton, good skin-friendliness, good breathability, and good moisture absorption. If you don't have a big budget and want to wear comfortably, this one is a good choice. Of course, some 100% cotton that has been processed by special processes such as depilation and softening is also a high-end fabric.
Cotton + Lycra (high-quality spandex) is also called Lycra cotton
It has drape and crease recovery ability. This is an elastic cotton fabric with spandex implanted during the weaving process. It feels good, fits well, highlights the figure, is elastic, and is especially suitable for close-fitting clothing. It has been used on men's T-shirts in the past two years. Generally, when making T-shirt fabrics, fabrics with spandex can only be treated with light alkali and low-temperature mercerization. This kind of fabric is more suitable for close-fitting and fashionable T-shirts, and the skin feeling will be worse. It is particularly important to note that this fabric should be treated with anti-shrinkage.
Mercerized cotton
It is made into high-weaving yarn through fine spinning. Mercerized cotton fabric uses cotton as raw material. After special processing steps such as singeing and mercerization, it is made into high-quality mercerized yarn that is smooth, bright, soft and wrinkle-resistant. The high-quality T-shirt fabric made of this raw material not only fully preserves the excellent natural properties of raw cotton, but also has a silky luster. The fabric feels soft, is moisture-absorbent and breathable, and has good elasticity and drape. In addition, the rich colors make it comfortable and casual to wear, fully reflecting the temperament and taste of the wearer. Mercerized cotton and double mercerized cotton fabrics are delicate, and are different from ordinary clothing in workmanship and printing and embroidery. It is recommended to find a manufacturer who focuses on high-end T-shirts, who are more experienced.
Double mercerized cotton
Using mercerized yarn that has been singed and mercerized as raw materials, pure cotton double mercerized fabric is a "double-burned double-silk" pure cotton product. Using CAD computer-aided design system and CAM computer-aided production system, the designed pattern T-shirt fabric is quickly woven. After the grey cloth is singed and mercerized again, a series of finishing is carried out to produce this high-end T-shirt fabric. The fabric has clear texture, novel patterns, bright luster, and smooth feel, which is better than mercerized cotton, but because it needs to be mercerized twice, the price is slightly more expensive.
Pure cotton fabric
1. Characteristics: It is a hydrophilic fiber with strong water absorption and quick drying. It is a medium-strength fiber with a tensile strength of 3.5~4.0g/d, but its strength will increase by 10% when it is wet, making it a washable fiber. It has good thermal and electrical conductivity and does not cause static electricity.
2. Advantages: (a) It absorbs sweat and dissipates heat, and the unit price is relatively low; (b) It has good thermal and electrical conductivity and does not cause static electricity; (c) It is acid-averse but not alkali-averse and can withstand strong detergents.
3. Disadvantages: (a) It has poor tensile elasticity and is easy to wrinkle; (b) It will shrink when it comes into contact with water in the early stage. After washing, the whole piece of clothing will be wrinkled, and the size will shrink or become larger; (c) It is susceptible to mildew and moths; (d) Sweat acid will damage cotton, reduce its strength, and easily turn yellow.
CVC
1. Characteristics: It is a blend of 70% cotton and 30% man-made fiber.
2. Advantages: It has the sweat-absorbing effect of cotton and the appearance of artificial fibers.
3. Disadvantages: The touch is not good.
TC (TC terylene, stretch nylon)
1. Material: Polyester fiber POLYESTER.
2. Advantages: Good texture and resistance to sunlight, not easy to deform when washed in water, good anti-friction.
3. Disadvantages: It will generate static electricity and pilling, and does not absorb sweat.
